    Barometric formula

    The barometric formula defines atmospheric pressure dependence from altitude.

    p=p0exp(Mghh0RT)p=p_{0}\cdot exp\left ( -M\cdot g\cdot \frac{h-h_{0}}{R\cdot T} \right )

    where:

    • p0 - pressure on Earth surface
    • M - molar mass of Earth's air
    • g - gravitational acceleration
    • R - universal Gas constant
    • T - air's absolute temperature

    let's consider:

    p0 = 101325 Pa

    M = .029 kg/mol

    R = 8.3145 J/(mol*K)

    T = 273 K
